New Free Service From Southwestern Medical Center Offers Online Resource For Personalized Health Information

(Lawton, OK) – Southwestern Medical Center recently unveiled My Health e-News, an innovative, personalized online health information resource now available on the SWMC website at www.swmconline.com
My Health e-News allows subscribers to designate the health information they want to receive via any of five free services. “This adds a new dimension to the way we serve our community,” said Steve Hyde, CEO. “We’re committed to improving the health of our Lawton/Fort Sill residents, and this new resource will give them easy access to the current health information that matters most to them. We hope this knowledge can help them make better informed decisions about their health.”
The five services include:
- My Health Newsletter – Each month we email subscribers the latest health news on the topics they choose, pulled from hundreds of publications and journals, all medically reviewed.
- My Health Reminders – Subscribers tell us their age and gender, and we email them free, timely reminders for all of the key health screenings and exams they need. They can also sign up for My Health Reminders for Loved Ones™.
- Daily Health News Videos – These videos feature the important health news of the day, based on the latest health news and research, six times a week.
- My Health Assessments –These comprehensive health and wellness tools give expert recommendations based on easy-to-use interactive questionnaires.
- My Baby Expectations – Expectant parents can subscribe to our free monthly email newsletter throughout pregnancy, delivery and baby’s first year. It includes emails on pregnancy, breastfeeding and baby’s development, as well as downloadable podcasts and lullabies.
